Science Education Solutions Science Education Solutions is a small research and development company invested in promoting science and technology literacy. We have program development and management expertise in scientist-teacher partnerships, curriculum development, Geographic Information Systems, K-16 teacher professional development, research experiences for science teachers and their students, and research experiences for undergraduate students.




Society for Developmental Biology (SDB) The Society for Developmental Biology (SDB) was founded in 1939 to promote the field of developmental biology and to advance our understanding of developmental biology at all levels. To this end, within developmental biology, we foster excellence in research and education, provide advice and resources on careers, and provide information for the public. Perhaps most importantly, we provide a communication hub for all developmental biologists.




The University of California Museum of Paleontology The University of California Museum of Paleontology has as its mission to investigate and promote the understanding of the history of life and the diversity of the Earth's biota through research and education. UCMP shares its science with the multiple audiences through its multiple websites, lectures, short courses, and workshops, and through collaborations with others.




University of Connecticut The University of Connecticut is a research intensive university, a prestigious designation shared by only the nation's top higher education institutions. We have more than 70 focused research centers where faculty, graduate students and undergraduates explore everything from improving human health to enhancing public education and protecting the country's natural resources. UConn's strides in higher education stretch throughout the state of Connecticut and beyond.




Visionlearning Visionlearning is an innovative educational resource designed for students, teachers, parents or anyone interested in learning. The Visionlearning website features a free, bilingual library of succinct, award-winning learning modules that integrate text, multimedia, and other resources to make learning exciting.




Wellesley College Botanic Gardens (WCBG) The Wellesley College Botanic Gardens (WCBG) are campus treasures at Wellesley College in Massachusetts. The botanic gardens provide low-hurdle bridges into science, for both Wellesley students and the general public. The mission of the WCBG is two-fold. To increase participation in science by facilitating exceptional teaching, innovative research, and the deep engagement of students with outstanding botanical resources, and to promote scientific and environmental literacy in the college and broader communities, stimulating interest in the natural world via aesthetic appeal and dynamic programming.




Wonderfest Wonderfest, the San Francisco Bay Area Festival of Science, is a free annual event that promotes the public understanding and appreciation of science. Wonderfest is co-sponsored by the U.C. Berkeley Physics Department, the Stanford Chemistry Department, and the Branson School. Its creator and director is Tucker Hiatt. Since 1998, Wonderfest has used provocative public discourse about science to stimulate curiosity, promote careful reasoning, challenge unexamined beliefs, and encourage life-long learning.




The Yale Peabody Museum The Yale Peabody Museum advances our understanding of Earth's history through research and by communicating this research to a wide audience. Fundamental to its mission are the collections, some 12,000,000 specimens that record the history of the earth, its life, and its cultures. The Museum engages the public in numerous ways to support lifelong learning in science: permanent, temporary and traveling exhibits; K-12 education programs including professional development and out-of-school programs; and special events including family activity days and summer camps.
