One Horace Mann student
stirs up a comet!
Students in Dinorah Salazar's class at Horace Mann Middle School combined dry ice, water, ammonia, dirt, and other ingredients to create their own simulated "comets."
This hands-on activity complemented the students' on-line exploration of The Comet's Tale, a digital learning resource developed by the Center for Science Education at the Space Sciences Laboratory.
