Her research: Katie studies the evolution of sexual dimorphism in the cranial bones and horns of African bovids, in particular the spiral-horned antelope and the springbok. Katie studies the development of these structures in males and females to learn how different kinds of sexual differences evolved.

Her interests: "I enjoy teaching human anatomy, seeing bovids in the field, and working with live antelope. I also have interests in macroevolutionary theory, epistemology and philosophy of biology."
