The crinoid Feeding Arms
The arms of crinoids are specialized feeding
stuctures that capture suspended food particles that float
past the animal. They are an assemblage of "brachials", one
on top of the other, forming a long arm composed of pinnules,
ambulacral grooves,
tube feet and cover plates.
