Carol
Tang received her BA in paleontology from UC Berkeley and a MS and
Ph.D. in geology from University of Southern California. She was assistant
professor of geological sciences at Arizona State University between
1997-2000 before becoming the senior science educator and research associate
at the California Academy of Sciences. She currently oversees programs
in teacher services, docents, school groups, interns, field studies,
outreach and volunteer services while continuing an active research
program in paleontology and astrobiology.
