DATA SHARING

FAUNMAP employs an open-access approach to data-sharing, with the mission of making the following features available through the University of California Museum of Paleontology (a member of the Berkeley Natural History Museums) web sites:

  1. Interactive maps of geographic occurrences of Pliocene through Holocene mammal occurrences and related data

  2. Easy-to-use interfaces for searching the database, building maps, and downloading portions or all of the database

  3. Willingness to join forces with other paleontological database efforts
