GESRI

Genetics and Evolution of the Skeleton Research Initiative/Institute

The future of biological research lies at the intersection of interdisciplinary boundaries. Here at the University of California Berkeley and San Francisco we are perfectly positioned to lead the way in discovering how our evolutionary history has shaped the genetic mechanisms that form and heal our skeletons.

GESRI creates a research environment through which biologists from all disciplines concerned with the vertebrate skeleton come together on collaborative projects and train the next generation of scientists.

Attend our fourth symposium, Skeletons in Motion, on Wednesday, June 15, 2011.

See the program schedules from our:
inaugural symposium, March 2009
second symposium, December 2009
third symposium, September 2010
