- the geologic forces that continue to shape the Bay
- the results of sea level fluctuations through the ice ages
- the ecology of the Bay and what it takes to survive in such a fluctuating
habitat
- major impacts on the Baythe human invasion and "other"
invasive species
- the future of the San Francisco Bay
