March 16, On the UC Berkeley campus. Topics included:

• the geologic forces that continue to shape the Bay
• the results of sea level fluctuations through the ice ages
• the ecology of the Bay and what it takes to survive in such a fluctuating habitat
• major impacts on the Bay—the human invasion and "other" invasive species
• the future of the San Francisco Bay
