Not your ordinary sport-utility vehicles

On August 1 we moved base camp to the Engdahl ranch, and set up our tents and Bill's camper. A few hours later, a heavy storm set in. Although it didn't rain much, fierce winds damaged all the tents, and the clouds did not blow over until sunset. As I trudged out to retrieve my ripped fly, I looked back at the homestead cabin where we stored our supplies -- just as the sun slipped under the edge of the clouds. We ended up sleeping in the trucks for the next two weeks.
