Dr. Donald Lofgren, a former student of Bill's at Berkeley, is now a teacher at the Webb School in Southern California, and runs the Ray Alf Museum there. He also supervises the "Peccary Club", a student paleontology group. Don did his Ph. D. work in McCone County and often brings Peccary Club members into the field with him. At the beginning of our trip, we shared camping space with them at the Rock Creek Marina, and they helped out with some collecting.
