Harley is an avocational collector of vertebrate fossils who has worked both with the Los Angeles County Museum and with UCMP. Although he is best known for his Tyrannosaurus excavations, we were hoping he would find some mammals for us. And he did not let us down! Sometimes it seemed to me that fossils would just migrate towards him wherever he crouched. With his sharp eyes and long experience, he collected more good specimens than me, Sera, Tom, and Barry combined.
