New on-line collections database
UCMP is pleased to announce the
arrival of a newly revamped on-line collections database developed in collaboration with the UC Berkeley Digital Library Project.
Link to the new on-line database and learn more about the UCMP collections.
The database currently includes records for more than 200,000 vertebrate, plant, invertebrate and microfossil specimens housed in
the UCMP collections. Features of the new interface include:
- A simple search form
- Browse lists for quick scanning of the collections
- Learn more links into the UCMP Web site for general audiences
- An advanced search form with more options for custom queries
- The capability of integrating photos of specimens and field sites
