Track mystery 9

Answer: These tracks are known as Caririchnium and were made by an ornithopod dinosaur. Ornithopods included plant-eating dinosaurs like duck-billed dinosaurs (hadrosaurs) and iguanodontids. Fossil tracks have shown that some ornithopods were semi-quadrupedal — that is, they spent part of the time walking on two feet and walked on all four at other times.

Artist's reconstruction of Dollodon bampingi, an ornithopod dinosaur that may have been similar to the animal that made the Caririchnium tracks above. Note the size difference between the front and back feet. Image by Steveoc 86 (CC BY SA 3.0).
