This page has existed in many guises since the inception of the
server.  It has been completely redesigned to serve as an introductory
page to the vertebrates and the systematics has been moved down
one level in accordance with the general layout of the server.

the old and new pages. <br>
On 4/12/95,

changes.<br>
Further corrections to format and text, as well as new cladograms, were made by
<a href=https://ucmp.berkeley.edu/people/brs/brs.html>BRS</a> on 07/12/95.
<br><a href=https://ucmp.berkeley.edu/people/bmw/bmw.html>BMW</a> began
creating the morphology and fossil record pages on 08/19/95, as well as
a new systematics page with <a href=https://ucmp.berkeley.edu/people/brs/brs.html>BRS</a>.
